Chief of Networks
Kelvey Oeser is the Chief of Networks at Leading Educators, where she leads the strategy and implementation of the organization's programmatic partnerships with district partners across the country focused on reinventing professional development for teachers.
A graduate of Emory University, Kelvey began her career as a middle school English teacher in East Los Angeles. She holds a Master’s degree in secondary education from Loyola Marymount University and a Master’s degree in public affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. Kelvey worked at the Texas Education Agency, where she launched the Texas STEM Initiative and managed grant programs focused on redesigning high schools serving low income communities. As the national Vice President of Staff Training Design at Teach for America, Kelvey led a team of designers who created leadership and staff development opportunities for 800+ instructional staff members across the country.
Prior to her current role at Leading Educators, Kelvey was a Partner on the Client Team at TNTP, where she led the organization’s work in Texas focused on recruiting, training and supporting great teachers and school leaders. Kelvey also serves on the board of Montessori for All, an Austin-based, public charter school.
